Ibram X. Kendi is a New York Times best-selling author and award-winning historian of racism at the University of Florida. He is the author of the award-winning The Black Campus Movement and his writing has appeared in Black Perspectives, Salon, The New York Times, The Huffington Post and The Root. Before entering academia, he trained and worked as a journalist.
