Synopsis

A thrilling adventure set in an alternative history of England, The Wolves of Willoughby Chase is the story of two brave and determined girls as they fight against ferocious wolves, snowy wastelands and a very evil guardian, Miss Slighcarp. The opening of the Channel Tunnel has led to hungry wolves roaming Britain, but this is not the only danger that cousins Bonnie and Sylvia, and their friend Simon the Goose-boy, must face. Full of unforgettable characters, mysterious schemes and dastardly plots, Russ Tunney's adaptation of this classic adventure story was a huge popular hit for Southampton's Nuffield Theatre and again on a UK tour.

Evocative of Dickens and Edward Gorey, The Wolves of Willoughby Chase makes for thrilling theatre. It is funny and spectacular with lush music and innovative staging, a great show for schools and drama groups.
