Award-winning author Katie Dale loves nothing more than creating characters – both on page and on-stage! After gaining an English Literature degree she followed her dream of going to drama school, (followed by a range of acting jobs including playing Juliet in a national Shakespeare tour and a small role in CAPTAIN AMERICA) then when she was back-packing through South-East Asia she was chosen as a winner of the SCBWI Undiscovered Voices competition which launched her writing career. Kasia is a freelance Designer and Illustrator based between Paris and London. She has over 10 years experience, with over 80 published titles. Her expertise varies from working with character brands to novelty books (pop-up’s, touch and feel, flaps, mechanisms), sticker books, activity books, story books and case bound gift sets.
