Synopsis

This is the latest book by one of Sigma's top selling authors. It includes many ready-to-run programs tested on the Amstrad range of computers; however, because C is so standardised the user will have no problem in running them on any computer with very few changes. But why use C rather than good old BASIC? First, because it is so much faster than BASIC, but much easier to learn than machine code. Secondly, it is very easy to write useful business programs in C. Thirdly, once you have written the program it can be easily transferred to any other computer that runs C.
