"Hysteroscopy offers an excellent method of evaluating the uterine cavity visually, providing the opportunity for directed biopsies of clinically suspicious lesions, and in some cases, their direct treatment or removal.
"As an office procedure, hysteroscopy allows the gynecologist to safely and efficiently incorporate this method of diagnosis as a routine procedure for symptomatic patients, sparing the patients inconvenience, cost, and undue stress and concern."
