Synopsis
The Standard Conditions of Sale are intended by the Law Society to be used in conveyancing of all types of property, both domestic and commercial. This new edition of the book has been rewritten to take into account the recent publication by the Law Society of the second edition of the Standard Conditions of Sale. The book takes into account all the changes in the Standard Conditions as well as recent changes in the law and practice. As before, the steps in the Law Society's Conveyancing Protocol are linked in the contractual conditions, and a new chapter is devoted to the working of the Protocol. Since the National Conditions of Sale are still used in commercial transactions, commentary on these conditions is included.
