The Limits of Mathematics This text contains transcripts of three lectures given by Gregory Chaitin on the limits of mathematics, with examples of LISP code and Mathematica code for the LISP interpreter. The lectures form a "hands on" computer course but can also be read theoretically without running the LISP interpreter.

He was a guest of distinguished people like Prigogine, the King and Queen of Belgium, and the Crown Prince of Japan. Just to be brief, allow me to paraphrase Bette Davis in All About Eve.
