Amy Scholder is an editor at City Lights Books. She has edited Critical Condition: Women on the Edge of Violence, Memories that Smell like Gasoline by David Wojnarowicz and Jerk by Nayland Blake and Dennis Cooper. She is a performance / literature curator of the Lab gallery in San Francisco.

Ira Silverberg is a literary agent and book publicist. He is a contributing editor to The Portable Lower East Side, a member of the board of directors of BOMB magazine, and co-chairman of the PEN Lesbian and Gay Committee.

A die-hard New Yorker, Ann Rower has always lived, worked and written in and around the city. She is the author of If You're a Girl, a collection of short stories, Armed Response and Lee & Elaine, both novels.

She has also worked for the innovative Wooster theatre group and other performance groups.

Benjamin Weissman's stories have appeared in BOMB, Santa Monica Review, and VLS. His critical writing appears regularly in ArtForum and the L.A. Weekly, as well as in European and American exhibition catalogues. His paintings and drawings are shown at Garelie Krinzinger in Vienna and the Christopher Grimes Gallery in Santa Monica.

John Giorno is the author of Cancer in my Left Ball, Grasping at Emptiness, Suicide Sutra, and other books of poetry. He has produced twenty-eight LPs, CDs and tape cassettes on his label, Giorno Poetry Systems, and is the founder of the AIDS Treatment Project. The John Giorno Band has performed extensively in the US and Europe. He lives in New York City.
