Tim Dlugos' writing has appeared in Best American Poetry, The Paris Review, Poets for Life, Christopher Street and BOMB. He was the author of several volumes of poetry. He died of AIDS in 1990.

Dennis Cooper is the winner of the Ferro-Grumley Award for Closer, and Guide was a Los Angeles Times bestseller and one of its Ten Best Books of the Year. He lives in Los Angeles.
