An entertaining, thought-provoking discussion of basic rules for effective management framed in the heartwarming story of the author's rescued dog, Angel. "I think every leader should have a dog - they keep us grounded and reduce stress. My dog, Joy, is the light of my life. And Martin Levin's delightful dog, Angel, has helped him discover surprising parallels between owning a dog and effective leadership:You sometimes have to earn trust. Clear communication is essential. Most problems can be solved with determination and a caring heart. And perseverance leads to success. This book, like Angel, is an unexpected treasure." Ken Blanchard (coauthor of The One Minute Manager(R) the world's all-time best seller on managing your work and life, and Lead with LUV)
