Derek Bell is one of the survivors from 1960's motorsport, who made a real name for himself in Endurance Racing for over a twenty years driving primarily for Porsche but also other top teams from the late 1960's through to the 1990's. A multiple winner at Le Mans and Daytona this book takes you through the details of his life racing around the world from his early years leading up to F1 and then in to Endurance Racing and other branches of the sport. It shows the vast difference in Motorsport in his early career and how motorsport has progressed through the years.

Biographie de l'auteur

Derek Bell was the World Sports Car Champion in 1985 and 1986, and five-time winner of the Le Mans 24-Hours. He has had endurance race victories at Daytona, Watkins Glen, Mosport Park and 12 other circuits in Europe, South America, South Africa, Australia and Japan.

Alan Henry is one of the most respected F1 journalists, and has built up good relationships with most of the sport’s leading personalities over the years. He is currently Grand Prix Editor for Autocar and regular Formula 1 columnist for The Guardian. His numerous books include a good number over the years for Haynes, including Jenson Button: A World Champion's Story and co-authorship of Stirling Moss: All My Races.
