Ronald Blythe is one of today's foremost literary figures. His work, which has won numerous literary awards, includes "Akenfield" (recently reissued as a Penguin 20th Century Classic - it was also made into a feature film), "Private Words", "Word from Wormingford", "Divine Landscapes", "Going to Meet George" and numerous other titles.
