Synopsis

This book is for part 2 of the PLAB exam, and goes alongside the highly successful PLAB: 1000 Extended Matching Questions, for PLAB part 1, by the same author. The book represents 100 OSCEs and covers the main skills tested in the OSCE examination - communication, history taking, clinical examination, practical skills, and emergency management as defined by the UK General Medical Council (GMC). The format of the questions is identical to those set in the PLAB 2 examination administered by the GMC.

Revue de presse

This book covers almost all areas of medical knowledge and also includes an extensive text and reference list ... it has the special advantage with providing, not only a chance to improve performance and communication, but to familiarise the reader with the British system of examination as well. (European Academy of Anaesthesiology Newsletter)

4 Stars: Just the book I needed
I think this is currently the best book available for PLAB part 2 preparation. Most of the stations described are currently being staged in the examination. Each usually asked station is described in detail stating what you should and should not do during the OSCE. All in all an excellent book for the preparation. (Amazon customer review, Jan 03)

4 Stars: Excellent book
This is an excellent guide for anyone attempting Plab 2. I used it for 2 weeks before the exam in conjunction with other textbooks and it consolidated my approach for the exam.
