Fr Brian Magee served as a priest for 50 years and worked as a teacher for 17 years in Castleknock, St. Paul s, Raheny and St Patrick s, Armagh. Having studied religious studies at CUA, Washington, D.C., with a strong emphasis on liturgy, he returned to the U.S. to study liturgy at Notre Dame. In 1978 he began to edit the annual Liturgical Calendar and did so for a total of 25 years. Working with Veritas, he authored books and booklets on blessings, psalm collects as well as readings for marriages and funerals. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 74.
