9781856266260: The Kids' Cookbook: Over 50 Fun Recipes for Kids to Cook

Synopsis

"The Kids Cookbook" contains over 50 recipes that are healthy and nutritious as well as fun and easy to make. Every recipe is divided into two parts: 'what do I need?' which gives you a list of the ingredients and utensils needed, and 'how do I do that?' which breaks down the recipe into practical, numbered stages. As a quick reference the cookbook also includes how many people the recipe serves, how long it takes to cook and some basic nutritional information as a guide. The delicious recipes are based on the four main food groups - strachy foods, fruit and vegetables, dairy and meat, fish and alternatives. And obviously because this is a kids cookbook there are some favourite sweet treats and thirst busting drinks. From smoothies to fruit crushes, fish cakes to Spanish omelette, hedgehog bread rolls to banana and grape brulee, there are a host of recipes to keep the young cooking enthusiast constantly busy. And not only that - this book also gives confidence and inspiration as well as a basic grounding in nutrition and healthy eating.
