This book focuses on the way in which pracitioners within learning disability explore theory and practice case studies, a range of therapeutic interventions that help to assist in our further understanding of how people with a learning disability interpret their world, feelings and extent of problems as they interact with people and the environment. The emphasis is on a person-centred approach in the development of foundations for therapeutic realtionships, getting in touch with people who have profound and multiple disabilities, life-story work and a host of talking therapies such as transactional analysis, solution focused practices and systematic therapy are reviewed and explored.
