Synopsis
Now reissued with completely updated appendices, "An introduction to regional planning" has established itself as a central basic text for students of urban and regional planning, geography and economics. John Glasson's revision takes into account not only changes which have already occurred, but also issues which will become important over the next few years. He has introduced new material on developments in regional planning concepts and theories; topics not covered by the first edition are now included, such as the role of multi-national firms, transport factors and socio-political factors in regional development.
