Originally from the Caribbean, the author moved to England at the age of 8. Straight after his A levels he started work as a biomedical scientist. He began to write poetry at an early age and continued writing short stories and plays through his teenage years. He tried unsuccessfully to get into journalism. He gave up writing for a long time after his computer crashed losing all his poems and two promising books which had been well received by publishers. After many years he could not resist going back into writing and this time he chose science fiction (his personal term for his work is science faction ). He then decided to move on and try to have The Central Column published before the story became fact rather than fiction. Return of the Fathers is the second book in the trilogy and he is currently working on the third part and editing his poetry book, Failure to Thrive, while at the same time building a community centre in Ghana, where he currently resides.
