Synopsis

Imagine a parallel universe in which Hitler won the Second World War. If too scary to contemplate, do not embark upon this story of epic intergalactic journeys through time and space, heroes and villains of homeric proportion, threats to our own and other universes of unimaginably cataclysmic consequence, as well as scientific inventions mind-blowingly disturbing. While not interdependent, the Earth and Iy, its immeasurably distant counterpart, rely on each other in ways Iyceans know only too well and which humans, as yet, are unaware. All that changes when a power struggle unstabilises the old order on Iy, which in turn threatens Earth. The welfare of the one depends upon the stability of the other. Against seemingly impossible odds, the well-being of both civilisations must be preserved. Desperate to maintain the mutual status quo, those Iyceans in the know organise two-way interventions between Earth and Iy, disastrous for many who find themselves caught physically, mentally and, most poignantly, emotionally, between two worlds. A novel you'll be glad you had the courage to read. John Andrews.

On Earth, Kef Atalan, heir apparent and lynchpin of his mentor’s carefully laid plans, finds his life in peril as he prepares to take up his predestined role. Conspiracy rapidly unfolds, and the importance and safety of his closest friend, Charlie Maguire, unexpectedly becomes paramount
