A crease to the spine strip of gray boards (but no damage to the binding), otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book dealing with RAF Ferry Command, which during WW2 organised the delivery of aircraft flown from Canada and the US by civilian crews, later augmented by RAF aircrew trained in Canada. These were flown north via Iceland to the UK, and also south via South America and across Africa to Egypt. A heavy book, packaged weight would be just over a kilo, so extra postage will be required from buyers outside the UK. 458pp, 48pp b&w illustrations. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
