Paul Mitchell is a frame historian and consultant of international reputation whose writing on European frames has appeared in specialist periodicals and exhibition catalogues. Lynn Roberts is an art historian specializing in the history of picture frames. She has published several articles and essays, particularly on nineteenth-century frames.
