Alan Powers, one of the UK's leading architectural historians, with a particular interest in the Modern Movement, has published widely on all aspects of twentieth-century architecture and design. He teaches at the University of Greenwich, London. Morley von Sternberg is recognized as one of today's leading architectural photographers. He recently collaborated with architect and writer John Allan on a book about the Modern Movement architect Berthold Lubetkin, also published by Merrell.
