Synopsis
A window provides access to two of life's essentials, light and air, but it is more than just a means to an end. Windows also have symbolic, expressive and architectural qualities that have for centuries inspired some of the world's greatest artists. À propos de l'auteur
Christopher Masters is a London-based writer and lecturer on art. He contributes to The Guardian newspaper, and is the author of Renaissance, published by Merrell in 2008, and a book on Salvador Dali, as well as numerous articles for periodicals and reference works.
