Roy Calley has followed his local football club since 1967, despite moving away from Blackpool many years ago. He is a passionate supporter, who has seen more lows than highs in the many years and indeed decades since that first experience at a sunny Bloomfield Road against Bristol City in the Second Division. In the late 1980s and early 1990s Roy created the fanzine View From The Tower' It gave him the idea to write a history of the club, hence the Complete Record. Although living on the South Coast and working in a career that often involves weekends, Roy tries to travel to as many games as he can to watch the 'Mighty Pool'. Roy works for BBC Sport as a television producer, As well as football, and especially Blackpool FC, he also has a passion for motorsport and was able to work for Formula 1 at the BBC for a time. His first love, though, belongs to the club that play at Bloomfield Road.
