For the last fifteen years Libby Purves has hosted Midweek on Radio 4. She has written numerous books, edited the Tatler, written for Punch and now has a regular column in The Times. In 1999 she was awarded the Granada 'What the Papers Say' award for Columnist of the Year and received an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours for her contributions to journalism. She lives in Suffolk with her husband, the broadcaster and writer Paul Heiney, and their two children.
