On 7 October 2001, Debra and Andrew Veal set off from Tenerife in a rowing boat. They were the only mixed pair in the Ward Evans Transatlantic Rowing Challenge. Prior to rowing the Atlantic, Debra set up The Well Hung Art Company on the Internet and became its managing director. Debra has remained in as MD of her company, but she now presents TV programmes, including Grandstand and the new design show Big Strong Boys.
