Synopsis
The full story of the RAC Rally is told here in this book by photographer and journalist Max Le Grand. He covers the early development of rallying in Great Britain - starting with the Honourable Charles Rolls' victory in 1900 - and the rise to international prominence of the RAC Rally. The historical narrative is enlivened by anecdote and profusely illustrated with photographs covering the entire history of the rally, from the beginning of the 20th century.

À propos de l?auteur
Max Le Grand has been a photographer and writer on international motor racing since 1958, winning the Ford Motor Sports Photographer Award in 1966 and taking part in the RAC Rally of Great Britain himself in 1971. He has also taken part in ocean yacht racing, and has worked in television.
