This fascinating book provides a complete guide for spin-anglers who want to learn about catching sea trout, or sea-run brown trout as they are known in North America. The author is an expert game angler and draws on both his 200 rod-days-per-year experience with sea-trouting and on the knowledge of many other anglers, some of whom fish using spoons and other hardware, some of whom use the fly, and some of whom employ bait.

Gary Webster has been a trout angler for over fifty years and has been a consultant in the sport-fishing tourism business. He has fished on both sides of the Atlantic and has taken more than his share of brownies, rainbows, cutthroat, golden, Dolly Varden and brook trout, as well as sea trout and salmon. Gary has made his home in northern Sweden, close to prime sea trout and salmon waters, where he writes, does a little guiding and fishes whenever he can.
