Synopsis
As life and death decisions are being made on the run, the personal lives of the squad become tangled. Mickey attempts to intervene in the breaking relationship of Angel and his wife Helena. No one is prepared for Angel's jealousy and his mindless attack on Helena's business colleagues. Sergeant 'Frog' Catteau enters the mind of a killer, and filled with rage at what the man has done allows time for the killer to shoot himself. The incident slowly infects the squad. Under threat of suspension from Rescue, Frog becomes careless while rescuing a youth from a cliff face in the bush, with tragic results. Police Rescue 3 has been novelised by Jack Bridson from the scripts 'Judgement Day' by Christopher Lee and 'Heartbeat' by Debra Oswald and 'Angel's Devils' by Andrea dal Bosco, Andrew Prowse and Christopher Lee (series 2, episodes 5, 11, 13).
