He is an award-winning investigative journalist who has received numerous prizes for journalistic excellence, including the Taco Kuiper and Mondi awards. In 2012, he won the CNN African Journalist of the Year print award, for City Presss exposes of Julius Malemas financial affairs. Finish & Klaar was shortlisted for the Sunday Times Alan Paton Award in 2011.
