He is the founder of Opportunity International Australia and co-founder of the Opportunity International Network, both organisations dedicated to challenging the conventional wealth redistribution model of development, and addressing poverty through responsible wealth creation. For his services to international development, David has been honoured with an Order of Australia and in 2008 was named Senior Australian of the Year.
