Synopsis
Hypertext permits non-sequential access to large knowledge bases. It is a new and revolutionary form of information organization, putting the user in control of the order in which individual items in a large knowledge base are accessed. This book is an introduction to Hypertext based on the papers presented at the first national conference held at the University of Aberdeen. Each chapter in the book is concerned with an aspect of practice supported by some of the many interpretations of Hypertext theory.
