Synopsis

Pick a Part chamber music is suitable for any combination of instruments in a junior string ensemble. These Renaissance Dances have been designed to provide interesting and varied group music, in parts, for young players with a range of skill levels.

All the pieces have been arranged for up to four string parts. These can be combined to blend in any combination, with or without piano accompaniment. The four parts are named melody (preliminary/grade 1), harmony 1 (grade 1), harmony 2 (preliminary/grade 1) and harmony 3 (open strings, with a few fingered notes).
