Synopsis

An extraordinary collection of poetry from an extraordinary poet. Poet Jack Veasey writes, "Christine O'Leary Rockey's deftly wrought poems draw from impressive resources: a finely-tuned lyric ear, a penchant for aphorism, a storehouse of haunting images, and a lifetime of sharp insights into human nature and experience. She is a philosopher as well as a poet. Whether she is plumbing the surprising depths of Bible stories and classical myths, or looking without blinking at the hidden dynamics of society or private relationships, her words ring true with precision and clarity."
