The Final Observations of a Technoshaman is a rare 1994 poetry collection by George Tirado, published by San Francisco's Road Kill Press. Tirado was a Chicano performance poet and activist deeply embedded in the pre-Slam San Francisco spoken word scene, sharing stages with figures from beat writer Hubert Selby Jr. to former San Francisco Poet Laureate Jack Hirschman, Lydia Lunch, and Henry Rollins. His raw, image-driven work explores what fellow poet Bucky Sinister described as "dirty, earth-bound angels." A scarce small-press title from an influential figure in West Coast spoken word poetry, this collection is a strong find for collectors of underground/small-press poetry, Chicano literature, and 1990s spoken word history.
