K. Dyble Thompson enjoys watching people of all kinds-young and old, working and at play. In her art, she loves to play with puns and show silly scenarios. She has a degree in fine arts from the University of Milwaukee. In addition to her book illustrations, she is known as a muralist and pavement artist. She provided the beautiful illustrations for Because Brian Hugged His Mother and Cat!.
