Cloth. Etat : As New. Etat de la jaquette : As New. First Edition. xxiv, 113 p. This is a book by the owner of The Presidential Book Shop, who also is a newspaper reporter. This work is an extensive interview conducted in 1993 with American historian and Woodrow Wilson biographer Arthur S. Link. At the time of this conversation, Link was bringing to an end his massive, 69-volume series, The Papers of Woodrow Wilson, which he had directed from the beginning. Link discusses his research methods, his luck in convincing Edith Bolling Galt Wilson not to burn the love letters from her husband, his further luck in the discovery of thousands of previously unknown Wilson documents in some trunks at the former president's S Street house in Washington, and the legacy of Wilson and his papers. This book has numerous illustrations, as well as an introduction and chronology. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Signed by Author. N° de réf. du vendeur 001241
