As a result of her passion for history, travel and bed & breakfasts, Deborah Sakach has emerged as the leading voice in the bed & breakfast industry. Her publishing company American Historic Inns, Inc. (AHI) is the industry leader for bed & breakfast guides, with more than 2.5 million books in print. Sakach has authored seven books on bed and breakfasts including 60 custom editions of Bed & Breakfast and Country Inns, nine editions of The Official Guide to American Historic Inns, and three Editions of the Bed & Breakfast Encyclopedia. Her Official Guide to American Historic Inns was a Book of the Month Club selection for several years. For 24 years she has successfully promoted the history and charm of the Bed & Breakfast industry, while creating key business relationships with which to reach millions of consumers each year. Most uniquely, Deborah maintains affiliations with large consumer goods companies to provide co-promotions that benefit innkeepers, consumers and consumer products alike.
