Synopsis

A mystery child starts a journal. With the birth of John and Ida May Sneed's second child, a daughter, in 1877, there began a chain of events that never had a satifying conclusion. The little girl, Myrtle, was a beautiful, outgoing child who had an apparent gift of total recall.
A most intriguing tale unfolds in this child's journal as she becomes aware, at an early age that something was being hidden within her family.
The journal is presented as the little girl wrote it, child-like and innocent. It rings with laughter and stings with pain as she describes events that are out of her control.
