I don't know if every copy is like this but mine has decorative bits of paper, or fabric, attached to pages of six of the poems. Unique and interestingly fun. Nancy Paddock's poems have appeared in The Writer Dreaming in the Artist's House, Common Ground: a Gathering of Poets from the 1986 Marshall Festival, As Far as I can See: Contemporary Writing of the Middle Plains, Warm Journal, Sing Heavenly Muse!, Milkweed Chronicle, Grain, Feminist Studies, and many other publications. Vanilla Press published A Dark Light, a previous poetry collection. Co-author of Soil and Survival: Land Stewardship and the Future of American Agriculture, Sierra Club, 1986, she is past editor of The Land Stewardship Letter for the Land Stewardship Project and worked as a poet in residence for the Southwest Minnesota Arts and Humanities Council and COMPAS of St. Paul.
