Synopsis

(Piano Solo Personality). Lorie has taken 14 of her most popular songs and edited and simplified them for inclusion in this book. The songbook also includes a corresponding CD with all the music recorded to a metronome so that you can play along with Lorie. Lorie also provides "practice tips" for each song. Fun to play and inspiring at the same time, this book is sure to be an all-time favorite for pianists. Includes: Threads of Love * Old Cat & The Kitty * Fur Elise * Minuet in G * Ode to Joy * and more. " Practice, Practice, Practice! arrived this afternoon. My daughter was so excited! She immediately tried Threads of Love , and had mastered the first two pages in about 15 minutes. She says that the left hand is much less intimidating than other songs she has tried, and it makes her believe she can play it before she even starts. My experience as a teacher tells me that once she masters the easy version, she won't be satisfied until she's learned the real one, too. This book encourages her to learn at her own pace, and is full of fun, exciting music." Kirsten Rabbe , Liz's Mom and Director of Signature Music Studio
