Chilean painter Roberto Sebastian Antonio Matta Echaurren, a major figure in the Surrealist movement, was one of the few Latin American artists of his time to achieve international fame. Elizabeth T. Goizueta has taught at Loyola University in Chicago and, since 1993, Boston College. She was previously the codirector of the Amnesty Program of Catholic Social Services in Atlanta and has collaborated on numerous academic projects.
