Synopsis
Two teenage boys and an uncle plan a fishing trip to a remote northern Manitoba lake in an antique seaplane. While fishing the uncle discovers an old cabin cruiser tied to a dock. His excitement mounts when he realizes it is a boat from his youth and he knows he has to restore it. The boys face a long and perilous journey to sail the partially repaired boat 300 miles south to Winnipeg. An unknown adversary from the past keeps trying to sink the old Rum Runner to hide his secret. Uncle Jake wants to fulfill a promise made to this boat many years ago.
