Carol Kauppi is a professor in the School of Social Work at Laurentian University. She has been engaged in research involving young people for more than 20 years. She lives in Sudbury, Ontario.
Heather Holland helped to design and develop GirlSpoken as part of a Woman's studies project at the University of Guelph. She could fill several boxes with the writing she churned out in her own girlhood. She is currently living in Ottawa and working on her Masters in Social Work.
Jessica Hein helped to design and develop GirlSpoken as part of a Woman's Studies project at the University of Guelph. She is calling Halifax home while studying at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her own pens and brushes have led to her art-based work with girls and young women.
