Geoffrey Tøye was born in S. Wales and lives in Pembrokeshire. He was educated at the University of Wales and at Oxford, and has worked for many years as a freelance journalist, contributing countless articles and short stories to Country, Field and Sailing journals. His first thriller, Diminished Responsibility, was enthusiastically received by both press and public, and was also a best-seller abroad, and a second, Telegram From The Palace, was published recently by Starborn Books. Geoffrey Tøye has had a lifelong interest in sailing and archery, and both plays and writes for the classical guitar.
