Why do previously healthy babies stop eating, or never show any interest in food? This study questions parents first-hand on how it feels to have a child whose growth falters in this way and how the health services have responded. With many parents suffering extreme anxiety about their child's feeding problems and stress over medical tests and contact with health professionals, the report suggests how families can be helped through the experience. By examining the different factors that contribute to faltering growth (failure to thrive) , it also begins to shed light on how this distressing problem can best be managed.
