Synopsis
Franko B's performance work is presented here by the well known photographer Nicholas Sinclair. Using his own flesh and blood to express alienation and trauma Franko B addresses issues concerning culture, religion and politics. While radically affronting, his performances deal with timeless issues, such as the fragility of the human spirit, the unstable nature of the psyche and the isolation characteristic of much of contemporary society. 60 duotone illustrations
