Dr G C Kanjilal is a retired Consultant Psychiatrist, who has lived in the village of Cranage in Cheshire, for over 38 years. His interest in poetry goes back to his childhood years when his interest in nature was influenced by Wordsworth's work. In rural Cheshire, he has been able to develop his sentiments with an analytical look of his profession. He lost his wife, Nana, in 1989, and now lives with his son, Arun and their latest pet Airedale, Barnie.
