Revue de presse

'Where other little red hen stories finish, this one begins again, lots of discussion here on the social and moral aspects of sharing and helping! The illustrations are bold and colourful, full of talking points. The text is clear and easy to follow, there is a wonderfully simple bread recipe included in the book which makes an excellent follow-up activity to the story. Children can share the smell and taste of freshly baked bread with the little hen and her companions.' --Early Years Educator

'This is a beautifully illustrated book. The alternative ending to the story makes a welcome change from other editions.' --La Leche League News

'The illustrations are simplistic and bold with primary colours and thick outlines. This is a pleasing version of the story.' --School Librarian
