Panjabi originates from the north of India, and like every language around the world is spoken with a different accent, depending on locality. For example, Birmingham English accent differs from London English accent, as with Ludhiana Panjabi is different to Jalandhar Panjabi.

Encouraged by her love of the Panjabi language and culture, Kiran has developed a range of books which include the Have Fun With Panjabi series, My First Panjabi Alphabet and The Vidya Reading Scheme. Kiran also writes plays and songs, both in Panjabi and English, which are brought to life in her Panjabi lessons at Funjabi Tuition.
